The Forum newspaper is continuing, both on-line and in print!

Thanks so much for your continuing interest in the Denver Forum.

As you know, my brother, Bob Adams, publisher of the Forum newspaper, passed away suddenly Nov. 17, 2008. It's been a difficult time adjusting both personally, and professionally.

As co-executor of his estate, I have, by default, taken over publication of the Forum. Bob and I started the Forum together in June, 1976 and I migrated to Jesup in 1978, where I continue to publish the Jesup Citizen Herald newspaper.

We have closed the Denver Forum office on Franklin Street in Denver, and moved production to my office in Jesup, in order to be able to continue to publish the newspaper.

The response of the community has been both overwhelming and endearing. We are so grateful for your support and encouragement.

Denver Savings Bank has become a voluntary "collection point" for news, photos, ads, subscriptions, classifieds. Please feel free to drop off items there during regular business hours, or at the drive-through.

The local phone number, 984-6179, has been transferred to a cell phone, which is normally kept in the Jesup office to answer local calls. We will continue to receive mail at PO Box 509, Denver, Iowa 50622.

We have established new email addresses for news and advertising through the new website. These email addresses are: and .

Please feel free to share the information above with anyone in the Denver Community you wish.
