Linda Lou Reiter
Linda Lou Reiter, age 74, of Denver, Iowa, died Friday, April 21, 2017, at her home.

Linda was born on October 15, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Emma (Juhl) Knock. She was raised in Waterloo and graduated from Waterloo West High School. On May 11, 1963, Linda was united in marriage to Paul Reiter at the Fairbank Lutheran Church. Linda loved her job as a bartender because of all the people she met and become friends with. She worked at numerous restaurants and bars in the Waterloo area most notably Porkys Red Carpet and the Elks Club.

Linda was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Denver and the Eagles Club in Waterloo. Her enjoyments included grandchildrens sporting events, watching the Home Shopping Network, watching Gunsmoke, playing cards, and going to the casino, however, Lindas greatest enjoyment was time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Lindas memory is honored by: daughter, Denise (Keith) Bergmeier of Denver; three sons, Dean Reiter of Denver, Daryl Reiter of Tripoli, Dan (Chris) Reiter of Denver; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry (Wanda) Knock of New Hampton and Jim Knock of Waterloo; and three sisters, Fran (Don) Page of Waterloo, Judy Stuber of Minnesota, and Mickey (Charlie) Brown of Waterloo. Linda was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Paul in 2010; and three sisters, Carol Moore, Sandy Webb, and Phyllis Zeiner.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Denver with Pastor Larry Feldt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Denver. Memorials may be directed to Lindas family and online condolences may be left at 319-984-5379
