Teresa Terri Lynn Thies Standridge
Teresa Terri Lynn Thies Standridge, age 56, of Waterloo, Iowa and formerly of Denver, Iowa, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Terri was born on July 19, 1960, in Waterloo, the daughter of William and Nannette (Baer) Thies. She was raised in rural Denver and attended the Denver School system to the eleventh grade and later obtained her General Education Degree. During her life Terri worked at Unity Point Allen Memorial Hospital in the laundry department and at Waterloo Trinity Episcopal Church as a janitor.

Terri was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a volunteer at Cedar Bend Humane Society in Waterloo. She enjoyed animals, especially cats and rabbits, socializing with friends, coffee time, playing clarinet, aroma therapy, and making jewelry out of beads, however, what Terri enjoyed most was time with her family.

Terris memory is honored by: her parents, William and Nannette Thies of Waterloo; three sisters, Diane (David) Van Eman of Dunkerton, Rebecca (Daniel) King of Waterloo, and Janet Bradley of Independence; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Waterloo with Pastor Suzanne Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Township Cemetery, rural Waterloo. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 17, at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
