Sharon Ann (Melby) Kyllo
Sharon Ann (Melby) Kyllo, 62 of Denver, Iowa passed away at the Shell Rock Iowa Health Care Center with her husband by her side, after a half-year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Robert (married in Winona, Minnesota September 19, 1981); father and mother-in-law, Richard and Darlene Kyllo; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Julie Dragvold; nephew and niece, Jason and Janette Dragvold; an aunt, Jean Melby; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Annette; and her parents Jerry and Helen (Tranberg) Melby.

Sharon graduated from Winona State University, cum laude, and received a Master's degree in Orientation and Mobility from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She worked for Iowa Education Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired, teaching many students to cope with blindness and vision difficulties. She enjoyed music and travel, having traveled to many places across the United States, much of Canada, and England.

She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 515 McHugh Road, Holmen. A visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial was in Pine Cliff Cemetery, Galesville on Monday, Nov. 12.
