The couple lived and raised their family on their farm south of Denver. Pauline was a farm wife and also got into upholstery, and eventually started her own business called Pauline’s Upholstery. Bob died in September of 1987, and Pauline continued to live on the farm until February of 2019, when she entered NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.

She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, sewing, jig-saw puzzles, and collecting salt & pepper shakers. However, spending time with family, especially her grand kids, gave her the most joy!
