Enjoy Denver’s Parade of Flags courtesy DCSF
The Denver Cyclones Scholarship Foundation is continuing to color Denver in red, white and blue with their Parade of Flags fund-raiser.

Begun last year, the Scholarship Foundation places a ground sleeve to hold the flag-pole in the lawn; then erects a temporary 8’ flag pole and 3’x5’ flag on each of the five “Flag” days during the year. Cost to the home or business owner is just $50 a year donation to the Scholarship Foundation.

Monday, May 25 is the first “Flag” day in 2020, so watch for the patriotic displays to appear. The second date is Flag Day in June, the Fourth of July, Labor Day in September and Veterans Day in October.

The flags are put up the day before each holiday and taken down the day after. If the holiday lands on a weekend, the flags will be placed on a Friday and taken down on a Monday.
