Drop by March 3 at the library for Dr. Seuss fun
Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday at the Denver Library!

The first week of March means it’s time for the Denver Library’s annual Dr. Seuss birthday party. This year, the event will be scaled down a bit, but children are still invited to stop by anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3 to take part in some fun activities.

Tables will be set up for children to make a Cat in the Hat card, a Lorax windsock, and a birthday badge necklace. Everyone attending will receive a hat and can sign up for a Dr. Seuss book basket drawing.

While you are at the library, be sure to check out your favorite Dr. Seuss book!

The event will be set up for social distancing and masks will be encouraged.

The Denver Public Library is open regular hours for walk in browsing and computer use Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. Saturday morning hours are from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, beginning February 27.

For more information, call the library at 984-5140.
