Christine Marie (Garthoff) Laws
Christine Marie (Garthoff) Laws, age 35, of Denver, Iowa, died Saturday, April 3, 2021, at UnityPoint-Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

Chrissy was born on October 12, 1985, the daughter of Douglas Boger and Brenda Garthoff-Schult. She was raised in Tripoli, Iowa, and graduated from the Tripoli High School in 2004. On October 13, 2017, Chrissy was united in marriage to Justin Laws at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. During her life Chrissy worked at JC Penney’s in Waterloo, End Zone in Denver, Tripoli V.F.W. and as front desk/supervisor at Various Choice Hotels in the Cedar Valley. She retired due to health issues in 2018.

Chrissy’s greatest enjoyment was time spent with family and friends, however, she also liked animals, especially her kitties and dog, Pluto, sleeping, and helping others.

Chrissy’s memory is honored by: her husband, Justin “Buster” Laws of Denver; father, Doug (Jeni) Boger of Denver; step-father, Randy Schult of Tripoli; father and mother-in-law, Peter and Kelly Laws of Evansdale; two sisters, Melissa and Alivia Boger, both of Denver; her maternal grandparents, Tom and Rose Garthoff of Denver; step-grandparents, Robert and Nancy Pudil of LaPorte City; two brothers-in-law, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Delores Boger, and her mother.

Chrissy has been cremated and a celebration of her life was held on Friday, April 9, at the Ackerman/Matthias American Legion in Denver from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to her family and online condolences may be left at www.kaisercorson.com.
