Denver team takes first place at Titan Challenge Spring 2021
Another great experience for six students this year! Titan Challenge is a Junior Achievement program that brings two partner teams of students (juniors and seniors) from area schools to compete in a simulated business program.

Students are partnered with the guidance of a local business mentor. Students who earn the privilege of making it to the Scholarship round get the chance to win a $1,500 scholarship each for first place and a $750 scholarship each for second place.

This year, Kylee Mrzlak and Jonathan Gentz did make it to the scholarship round and took first place! The team was mentored by Matt Loesche from Dupaco Community Credit Union. Each student received a $1,500 scholarship for post-secondary education to the college or university of their choice.

The Titan Challenge is an interactive online business simulation that offers a unique way for young people to learn what it takes to compete in the marketplace and to run a successful business. JA students spend the day using Junior Achievement's Titan simulation program to make key decisions while managing and operating their own virtual business. This year the competition was run virtually due to the current health concerns.

This year’s participants from Denver were Jonathan Gentz and Kylee Mrzlak, Mackenzie Milder and Jadyn Milius and Abby Austin and Ben Kasemeier.
