William Otters

William Otters, age 69, of Denver Iowa, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, IA.
His Celebration of Life will be later in the spring on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Fort Atkinson Community Center, 303 3rd St NW 52144, in Fort Atkinson, Iowa.
William (Bill) Otters was born on January 26, 1954, to Arthur and Catherine (Norkin) Otters.
Bill farmed most of his life in Fort Atkinson. He loved sharing his many stories about farming. His favorite pastime was watching YouTube shows about tractors and farming. He also enjoyed his motorcycles, going for drives, and playing pool. When his kids were young, he enjoyed playing baseball and catch with them.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Moldrem) Otters of Denver, Iowa, His sons: John (Kari) Otters of Cresco, IA, and Mark (Jennie) Otters of Salina, KS; his daughters: Mary Gaede of Dubuque, IA, Julie (Jeremy) Brimer of Kansas City, MO, Eva-Nicole Otters of Monroe, WI, and Marggie (Jared) Duncan of Lakeville, MN; his grandchildren: Jackson (Megan) Smith of Cresco, IA, Olivia Smith of Cresco, IA, Langston and Ella Otters of Cresco, IA, Emily Tieskotter of West Union, IA, William (Will) Gaede of Dubuque, IA, Aniston and Benten Duncan of Lakeville, MN, Hayden and Jayden Smith and soon to be born, Kayden Dickau of Monroe, WI; his brothers: Arthur Otters of New Hartford, IA, Robert (Rose) Otters of Fredericksburg, IA, Ronald Otters of Fort Atkinson, IA, his sister, Kathleen (Dolly) of Marlow, OK, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
