Denver Memorial Day May 29
The Denver Memorial Day activities will be held on Monday, May 29 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a parade.
The parade will begin at the American Legion Post and will end with a program at Fairview Cemetery in Denver at approximately 11 a.m.
Following the program at the cemetery, there will be a brief ceremony held at the Veterans Complex. It will include placing a wreath in the Creek to honor comrades lost at sea.
The rain location for all outdoor events will be the Denver High School gymnasium.
The public is invited to all events, including a noon potluck lunch at the Denver American Legion Post following the ceremonies. The Legion will provide ham and all guests are asked to bring a side dish and their own table service.
