Homecoming parade is this Sunday
Homecoming Week at Denver High School will kick off with the annual Homecoming Parade this Sunday, Sept. 17, at 5 PM.

The parade will start on Schneider Street by the high school, ending in the parking lot. The parade will head north on Schneider Street, then east on Lincoln before turning back south on Longview to enter the school parking lot.

Following the parade, around 5:30 PM, there will be a Community Pep Assembly on the football field. Community members are welcome to join this event that highlights the various Homecoming activities, including sports teams, dance/cheer and the marching band. The Homecoming Court will also be introduced at this time.

The Denver Cyclones will take on Aplington-Parkersburg on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7 PM at the football field. The halftime will include the Denver Marching Band and the coronation of the 2023 Homecoming King and Queen.

The Homecoming Dance will be held from 8 - 11 PM at the Cyclone Center Lobby on Saturday, Sept. 23.
