Mile-Wide Holiday Hop ignites holiday spirit and small business support in Denver
Destination Denver has scheduled community activities for Saturday, Nov. 25, from 2-5 p.m. in the downtown area.

“The Mile-Wide Holiday Hop is set to transform the community into a small town of traditions with merriment and togetherness,” said Destination Denver founder Hanna Nuss. “This much-anticipated event promises an array of heartwarming activities that celebrate the holiday season and rally support for our cherished local businesses.”

The Mile-Wide Holiday Hop is a small gathering full of traditional holiday delights, offering something special for everyone.

Cookies and Hot Cocoa: Indulge in a delectable assortment of cookies and savor the warmth of hot cocoa, guaranteed to keep attendees cozy and content. Kick the evening off at State Street Coffee.

Enchanting Carols: Let the enchanting melodies of carolers serenade you, filling the air with the timeless tunes that define the holiday spirit.

Downtown Holiday Window Hunt: Embark on a captivating journey through Denver’s downtown area, where each window display tells a story of holiday wonder. Grab a Holiday Hunt worksheet and find hidden objects and themes at each business destination.

Community Tree Decorating: Bring Community Capsule Ornaments (for sale at Local. starting November 15) that represent your home and add it to the community tree. “Together,” Nuss explained, “we'll craft a masterpiece that radiates the spirit of unity and community.”

Tree Lighting Ceremony: The event closes at 5 p.m. with a mesmerizing tree lighting ceremony. “It’ll be a moment of pure magic that ushers in the holiday season in grand style,” Nuss said.
