Carol Staley

Carol Anne Staley, 82, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Denver, Iowa, died Monday, April 21, 2025, at Agape Heritage Home in Katy, Texas.

Carol was born March 17, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, the daughter of Ralph and Etta (Lomagistro) Rohrssen. On November 28, 1964, she was united in marriage to Craig Staley. To this union two daughters were born, Nicole and Stefanie.

Carol was involved with St. Peter Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and spending weekends in Wisconsin boating and fishing.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Nicole Anne Staley-Owens (Dave) of Katy, Texas and Stefanie Le Staley of Maple Grove, Minnesota, three grandchildren; Konner Staley, Hollie Owens and Ashlyn Anderson. Her sister, Cindy Perry (Rohrssen) and Fred Perry, her sister-in-law, Karen Rohrssen, and niece, Scarlette Rohrssen. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Craig, and her brother, Ronnie Rohrssen.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband and parents in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Denver, Iowa on May 7, 2025.
