David Alan Pulleyblank Obituary

David Alan Pulleyblank, 66, of Waterloo, died Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Harmony Waterloo in Waterloo, Iowa.

David was born September 27, 1959, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Charles Wayne and Colleen Myrna (Eichhorn) Pulleyblank. He graduated from Denver High School in 1978 and then from UNI with a degree in Art History in 1982. He worked several jobs over the years, most recently at Exceptional Persons Inc.

David enjoyed pencil drawings, collecting vintage comic books as well as Superman and Batman memorabilia. He liked to keep up with political affairs. He loved his nephews, Michael and Mitchell.

David is survived by his mother, Colleen Pulleyblank of Denver, his brother, Charles Pulleyblank of Waverly, a sister, Jennifer Keeran of St. Joseph, Missouri and two nephews; Michael and Mitchell Keeran. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles, grandparents; Charles and Madge Pulleyblank and Walter and Ruth Eichhorn.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Saint Paul United Church of Christ in Denver with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock.
